We provide comprehensive assessment and counseling services for early career planning (high school and college), mid-career reassessment and development, and career crisis intervention. As Director of the MPG Career Development Center, Dr. Douglas L. Griest has spent over twenty-five years providing career direction and counsel to individuals of all ages. Clients of the MPG Career Development Center receive state of the art services based upon a career model established through years of research and practice. The model states that career decisions are optimized when people make career decisions based upon three factors: their talents and skills, their particular areas of interest, and their personality traits and characteristics. These factors of the individual are measured using validated and industry standard assessment inventories. In addition to the use of assessment inventories, MPG clients meet with Dr. Griest for an extensive career background intake interview. Data from the intake interview and the assessment instruments are integrated into a career report written and interpreted by Dr. Griest. The results include a summary of the findings and a clear roadmap for the individual to use to make future career plans.
